THE COMPETITION
Perphect Vizion Production LLC is proud to present the 2024 "Your Vizion Realized Short Film Competition". This is our annual competition that allows one lucky writer the opportunity to have their scripts turned into a professionally produced short film.
Rules and Prizes
Eligibility and Submission Guidelines
A. Writers must submit scripts (must be in script layout) that are written in English and pay the $25.00
(Twenty-Five Dollar) Registration fee.
B. Submissions open on February 1st and closes Feb 29th 2024.
C. Scripts must not exceed 10 pages and should require no more than 3 locations, 5 characters and locations can not be specified to require filming outside of North Carolina.
D. Restrictions: No nudity, visual sexual activity, CGI, explosions, planes/motorcycles/military vehicles/ boats, explicit situations involving children, or copyrighted/licensed material.
Prizes and Sponsorship
A. One winning script selected annually.
B. Perphect Vizion Production LLC will film and edit the selected short film at no cost to the writer
C. Production company provides crew, actors, equipment, and secure locations.
D. Winner announced on April 5th, and the production date scheduled thereafter.
Production Process
A. Filming limited to 3 days.
B. Writer allowed on set during filming, either in person or virtually.
C. Production crew retains the right to make creative decisions during principle photography and editing.
D. Writer retains rights to the written concept and is credited onscreen and on IMDB as the writer.
Festival Submission
A. Finished product will be entered into a Film Festival for consideration in the Short Film category.
B. Selection into the festival is not guaranteed.
Rights and Use
A. Writer receives a copy of the film and rights to use for self-promotion.
B. Finished products cannot be altered by the writer.
C. Production company retains the right to showcase the finished product for marketing and promotional uses only.
D. Neither party is granted the right to use the film for profit or grant rights to third parties for profit.
